Green waste

Green waste is also collected fortnightly and must be placed in special white sacks which are available from Caradon Distirct Council or a number of retail outlets within the district.

Between March and November all green waste collected is composted and used as a soil conditioner on farmland, reducing the need for artifical improvers and benefitting the environment at the same time.

To find out your green waste collection dates ring
01579 341040 or Email: publicservices@caradon.gov.uk

Garden waste can be taken free of charge to Connon Bridge, East Taphouse or Tamar View, Saltash Recycling and Household Waste Centres.
