The Recycle for Cornwall campaign has been developed to raise public awareness of recycling and to provide consumers with a compelling reason to recycle.
Cornwall ScrapStore is a non-profit making charity dedicated to promoting creative play, education and recreation throughout the county. Cornwall Scrap Store is a fantastic community resource, stocking an amazing range of useful and unusual materials that can be used in art, craft and play activity for all ages at no cost other than a small yearly membership subscription.
How does it work?
Scrap materials are donated by more than 50 local manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. These materials are therefore saved from landfill. The ScrapStore sort the items and then offer them to their membership.
What does it stock?
Examples of ever changing stock include: Card, paper, material rolls and remnants, acetate, buttons, carpet squares, wallpaper, plastic, thread, paint and a million other things!
