Reduce
Update mailing list regularly to avoid sending out post unnecessarily or set up an email database and do your mailing electronically. Buy printers, photocopiers and fax machines with options for double-sided printing. Avoid unneccessary printing - a computer filing system is much tidier than a paper one. Use mugs and glasses instead of plastic cups.
Reuse
Give an envelope a second chance by using it again. Use refillable pens and ink cartridges. Use scrap paper for notepads.
Recycle
Implement an office recycling scheme - it could save you money. Make recycling easy, move the recycling bin closer to the desk and reduce the number of general waste bins available. Recycle old computers or electronic equipment. Buy recycled - you are not truely recycling unless you close the loop
