The Recycle for Cornwall campaign has been developed to raise public awareness of recycling and to provide consumers with a compelling reason to recycle.
It appears that The Such Gallery, at Kingsley Village, in Fraddon was the place to be on Friday evening. Over 150 guests enjoyed a fashion show entitled "in the loop" organised by Recycle for Cornwall in conjunction with TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development).
An exciting fashion show with a difference will be showcased at the Such Gallery, Kingsley Village, Fraddon this month. The fashion show entitled "in the loop" will feature clothes from designers and companies who use sustainable, reused or recycled fabrics.
Organisers of the Restormel Recycling League have been overwhelmed by the success of the competition. An average increase in recycling of 3.8kg per household, the equivalent to 76 empty bean cans, has been achieved
The visitor's centre, housed at the the East Cornwall Recycling Centre in Bodmin, will be opening it's doors for one last time in 2005 on Friday 25th November.
Restormel Borough Council in partnership with Recycle for Cornwall will be offering 12 communities in the Restormel area a chance to win 10,000 pounds for their local community
The Recycle for Cornwall campaign, in partnership with Cornwall Centre for Volunteers, is looking for people who care about the environment to help them in their quest to increase recycling rates across Cornwall.
Recycle for Cornwall are appealing to all Cornish residents to make 2005 the year that they do something to help the environment by promising to recycle.
